After a quick 1.4-mile, moderate hike in Orchard Park, NY, you'll be left with amazing views of a flame thriving behind a 35-foot waterfall.

The flame, right, barely visible behind the waterfall
Eternal Flame Falls is a easily accessible waterfall located in Chestnut Ridge Park in western New York. The flame is around 8 inches high and is believed to be lit by Native Americans thousands of years ago. The gas is contained inside a hollowed-out cave behind the waterfall, allowing the flame to be lit eternally.
